This piece is from a photograph taken just before the major upgrade of the Pacific Highway in the Coffs Harbour region, and much of the background between the two tree lines, no longer exists. It has become tarmac and concrete.
I love the pointillism genre, as it creates an image that is full of interesting movement of colour and structure created out of dots. The eye of the viewer is tricked into believing it is looking at a solid structure of paint, but its not.
